Austrian Airlines is expanding its flight offer between Vienna and Innsbruck for the upcoming winter flight schedule 2024/2025. From the end of October 2024 up to and including March 2025, the route will be operated up to three times a day. There’s also good news for incoming tourism: from December to the beginning of March, there will be direct weekly flights from Innsbruck to Brussels, Copenhagen and Warsaw. In the upcoming winter season, Amsterdam will again be served once a week for an extended period until the end of March.

Domestic ski tourism is also set to benefit, as during the peak ski season, Stockholm and Billund routes will be operated as charters directly from Innsbruck, ensuring travelers arrive relaxed at their Tyrolean destination.

“With our expanded flight offer between Vienna and Innsbruck, we now provide our guests with greater flexibility and four direct tourist connections to Tyrol. We see ourselves as part of the Tyrolean economy, and our commitment is reflected in our flight program!” Michael Trestl, CCO of Austrian Airlines, expresses delightedly.

The Managing Director of Innsbruck Airport, Marco Pernetta, is delighted with Austrian Airline’s commitment for the upcoming winter: “We are very pleased that Austrian Airlines is increasing frequencies on the crucial Vienna-Innsbruck route and adding new European routes on winter weekends, clearly demonstrating their commitment to Innsbruck as a location.”

In addition to the expanded Austrian Airlines route network, Lufthansa Airlines will also serve the route between Innsbruck and Frankfurt 11 times a week, ensuring a connection to the rest of the world via Frankfurt. In addition, the Lufthansa Express Bus connection, which has been offered since summer 2024, will be continued in winter with up to four daily trips to the Munich hub.
