Due to the pandemic-related entry regulations, numerous countries currently require specific documents, such as a recent negative Covid-19 test result, a digital entry registration form or a passenger locator form. The required certificates are currently checked directly at the airport. To simplify the process, passengers on all Austrian Airlines flights to Germany, Greece and Spain now have the possibility to upload corona-related travel documents and having them checked in advance. The voluntary upload is possible up to 12 hours prior flight departure. The result of the pre-check will be transmitted via e-mail no later than four hours before departure.
Passengers booked on the relevant flights will receive a notification and a link to a portal where they can store the country-specific required certificates for entry.
