Austrian Airlines takes a holistic approach to communication

  • Ingrid Gogl appointed Head of Brand & Communication

As of 1 April 2025, Austrian Airlines is taking a holistic approach to communication. Ingrid Gogl (39) will take over the management of the newly established ‘Brand & Communication’ division, where the topics of communication, marketing and brand management will be bundled in the future. Gogl is moving to Austrian Airlines from TGW Logistics, where she has worked as Director Marketing, Communications & Brand since 2023.

Ingrid Gogl has international experience in communications and marketing as well as in strategic brand management. She also brings a broad range of experience with her expertise in sales, business development and transformation. Her career includes positions such as Head of Digital & Brand at ÖBB Holding, where she later also co-developed and managed the Communications Newsroom. As Vice President Marketing & Communications at Yunex Traffic in Munich, she oversaw the spin-off of Siemens ITS and its implementation as an independent brand.

In her future role, Ingrid Gogl has set herself the goal of giving the Austrian Airlines brand new thrust together with her team. The combination of branding, marketing and communication in a 360-degree approach should provide the ideal basis for this. In the new Brand & Communication division, Barbara Greul together with her team will continue to be the contact person for external and internal communication, while Aniela Sulej will be responsible for all marketing and advertising issues. The position of Head of Brand Strategy & Design is currently being advertised.
